About the Founder

Hi, I’m Brytani Wright — educator, mentor, and founder of Ascend Academic Solutions, LLC.

I created Ascend to provide focused, personalized support that helps students not only catch up but truly excel. After working with a diverse range of learners, I’ve seen what’s possible when students are given the right tools, the right strategies, and someone who believes in their potential.

This past school year, 75% of my students reached grade-level proficiency, and 35% scored at high school levels on their NWEA assessments — a testament to the power of targeted instruction and consistent encouragement.

At Ascend, our sessions are designed to:

  • Strengthen foundational skills in math, reading, and writing

  • Build productive study habits and organization techniques

  • Reduce academic anxiety and increase self-confidence

Every student learns differently — and that’s exactly why a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. My mission is to meet students where they are and help them rise, step by step.

Because when students feel supported, seen, and capable — they don’t just learn. They ascend.

At Ascend Academic Solutions, we’re proud to bring together a team of passionate educators committed to helping students thrive.

We’re excited to welcome Ivan Branson to the team as our Math Specialist. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ivan brings deep expertise in math instruction and a genuine passion for helping students build confidence and master key concepts. He will lead select tutoring sessions and support small group instruction, helping us deliver high-impact, personalized learning experiences.

We’re also proud to introduce Anthony Phifer, a dedicated Social Studies and Science teacher, who brings a thoughtful, engaging approach that helps students connect with academic content in meaningful ways. Anthony will be supporting small group sessions, contributing to well-rounded, multi-subject support for our learners.

📅 Current Group Availability:
We are currently offering one small group session on Saturdays. If interest grows, we will add additional sessions based on student need and availability.
